A new book, 50 Is The New Fifty, by Suzanne Braun Levine, has captured the attention of Hollywood stars like Isabella Rossellini and Jane Fonda, who this week made a public plea for us to change our attitude to ageing. According to them, 50 is an exciting stage of life where you feel more confident and energetic than in your 30s. So is it really the new golden age?
